Younger than McCain

Yes, here are things that are all younger than McCain :

Coincidently, it appears on a t-shirt. Which you can buy here .

The company, 200 Nipples sells only a 100-shirt run of each design, which vary in price. It’s a pretty interesting concept. And the shirts are cool to boot. (the above link explains the company)

Thank YOU 200 Nipples

Heart on My Sleeve

I know. It’s been a while, my life has been scattered so my posts have been lacking. But that isn’t what’s important. What IS important is that I have come back for this post with THIS :

This is, ladies and gentlemen, the latest line of clothing from a celebrity. Aubrey O’Day is in Danity Kane . I just found out that Danity Kane is apparently not the same thing as PCD . You see, past The Spice Girls, I assume that ’singing’ groups that are comprised of several girls are all the same. Apparently, the aren’t? But I digress.

Ms. O’Day has come up with a line of clothing featuring t’s for men and women, underwear and bizarre head accessories .

Now, I would LOVE to spend all my time on the bizarre head accessories , and how they are so poorly done that not even an alt would wear them to be ironic. Even though I know they know they are supposed to be post-ironic now, I don’t know if one could help their self. But once again, the greatness of this latest collection of clothing has gotten the best of me.

On to the T’S!

This line features everything:

T’s for the pre-teen:

T’s for the emo (just ignore the fact that it is in yellow):

T’s for the people who are sluts, just in case everyone DIDN’T know:

Anyway, you get the idea. Hell, you could come up with names for the perspective buyer of these t’s yourself. It’s not that hard. Where I am going with this is: The shirts are terrible, they could all be found at Wal-mart. With the exception of the slutty ones, and the fact that they are printed on American Apparel.

The designs are lacking, I mean really, if I hired graphic designers to come up with these AWESOME designs, I would fire these people. The messages are slut-tastic, but so is DK. And they have a deliciously, and by ‘deliciously’ I mean wretched, gimmick of a heart printed on every sleeve in lieu of the name of the line. Barf.

I cannot, however, leave this post without some positivity. So here goes: Points for the American Apparel . Points for the line of clothing about Aubrey . I mean if you can get shirts to pimp out yourself, good for you. And points to the ANTM contestants who got jobs, but they aren’t smiling with their eyes!

Here’s the headband:

I couldn’t help it, they are kind of growing on me.

Thank YOU Heart on My Sleeve Shop

OH! And another thing: the image at the top of the site, the take off of Sixteen Candles bothers me too. Like the JC Penny’s Breakfast Club commercial.

Pokemon 151

So, Pokemon started in 1995, can you believe that?! And now the folks who are behind the product have decided to create a line of shit you don’t need for the original fans, some of whom are now adults. I find it scary that people who are my age (e.g. the ‘adults’ who were original child fans) would want to pimp out their Pokemon love. Or would still be interested in it at all, really.

The brand is called Pokemon 151 .

I do believe that this is what one would call otaku awesomeness. Or something like that.

Thank YOU Kotaku and Pokemon 151

Read Books Not T-shirts

So. If this sentiment was more widely accepted, I would be out of a job. Sometimes, though, I think this when at work.

Zero Punctuation

A while back, I made the mistake of showing my little brother Zero Punctuation . If you are unaware of this site, It is a collection of hilariously scathing video game reviews which are flash animated. They are worth watching. Even though I am not a huge gamer, meself, I have enjoyed many a video.

My younger kin, definitely is. And he is CONSTANTLY prodding me to find out if I have viewed the latest video, which I inevitably haven’t; this in turn leads to an awkward silence ’til we can think of something new to talk about…but i digress.

The benefit of my introducing him to this site is his introducing me to their merch:

Thank YOU, Split Reason for the merch. And thank YOU The Escapist for providing Zero Punctuation.

SICENCE! Rock Robot T

Since I am feeling mighty rock-and-roll these days. This one came across my computer screen today:

Nothing like Rocking with your robot! If i were a scientist, I would rock out with my robot. But I am not a scientist, and I do not have a robot… just an internet addiction.

Anywhoodles, I would like to send my thanks to Jeremy at Wearscience.com

On a side note, Jeremy, as a fellow plot-printer , I have to say that they are a mighty superior way to print on shirts, but I cannot deny the abilities of the classic screen-print.

Who the Fuck is Mick Jagger?

So, someone had a pretty cool t-shirt store idea. They made re-creations of famous t’s worn by famous musicians. They also make re-creations of t’s from famous tours and events.

This one was worn by Keith Richards, and now you can wear it too!

Who the Fuck men s t Shirt Black Zoom

here’s Keith in the t

They are authenticated by VH1, but I can’t figure out if it is a VH1 subsidiary or not. I am pretty sure it is, because they used one of the same typefaces that VH1 does.  Either way, it is a pretty great idea.

Nigel’s Skeleton T-shirt

I thought that I would share a bit of work with you guys. I spend the majority of my day drowning in poor designs from customers and movie quotes from my co-workers.

Of these quotable movies, This is Spinal Tap is a favorite. So I give you Nigel’s Green Skeleton T-shirt

And in case you haven’t seen the film, a clip where he wears this particular t:
