Pokemon 151
So, Pokemon started in 1995, can you believe that?! And now the folks who are behind the product have decided to create a line of shit you don’t need for the original fans, some of whom are now adults. I find it scary that people who are my age (e.g. the ‘adults’ who were original child fans) would want to pimp out their Pokemon love. Or would still be interested in it at all, really.
The brand is called Pokemon 151 .
I do believe that this is what one would call otaku awesomeness. Or something like that.
Thank YOU Kotaku and Pokemon 151

How to fold a t-shirt
I have, and will be, away from work for a while. I will be spending time trying to find new and shiny work that doesn’t suck. Because of this, I don’t have much in the way of t-shirt inspiration for posts. So I thought that I would post this popular video of how EVERYONE folds t-shirts in Japan. Yes everyone. Don’t kill my dreams.
Enjoy!
post script-if anyone has a position open somewhere, let me know. kthnx.

Hello Kitty KIKS TYO
In honor of Hello Kitty being named a Japanese ambassador I thought I would put a t with her illustrious image. Illustrious because she is on anything and everything possible. I can’t hate on that though, when I was a wee one I had my fair share: Hello Kitty stamps, Hello Kitty stickers and sticker collection book, Hello Kitty barrettes…the list is a long one.
This t is from the Japanese ‘lifestyle’ brand KIKS TYO.

Hello Kitty will do anything, even look like the Coppertone Baby
Thank you KIKS TYO

I’ll Throw Them A Bone
I very much intend upon continuing my posts in engrish, because I love it. However, I thought that today I would post some pertinent design from Japan in the form of the following:

These are some shirts from the Japanese company, Original Fake. This is their “mouth” collection. It is one in the line of many Japanese companies which are favored by the urban culture. I have to say that I have a soft spot in my heart for the urban style, because without a doubt whenever they come to visit, they commission some great stuff.
Thank YOU original fake
